The Black Forest Guided Tour is a full-day program for all guests who wish to explore the beauty and distinctive cultural landscape of the Black Forest. On this page, we’ll introduce you to possible destinations in the Black Forest. We’ll create a personalized itinerary for your tour group, “tailored” to your specific wishes. Upon request, the Black Forest Guided Tour is also available as a half-day option.
The price of €299 applies to an eight-hour full-day tour guide service. Any additional services, such as museum admission and food tastings, are not included. However, we’d be happy to handle the organization and coordination of these services for you as part of your tour planning, so that you can conveniently manage all items through a single provider. For this service, we charge a processing fee of 5% (minimum €25) plus VAT per service arranged.
Stretching over 150 km from north to south, the Black Forest is not only Germany’s largest forested area, but also offers a wealth of tourist attractions. In the Southern Black Forest, visitors are drawn not only to the Black Forest’s highest mountain, the Feldberg, but also to picturesque landscapes such as the Wutach Gorge. Short hikes here can easily be combined with a visit to a schnapps distillery. Further north in the Upper Black Forest, you’ll find world-famous attractions such as the Triberg Waterfalls, Germany’s highest waterfalls. The Black Forest’s museum scene is also diverse and fascinating. At the Vogtsbauernhof Open-Air Museum, you can experience firsthand the houses and living conditions of bygone eras from all parts of the Black Forest. In the Black Forest’s diverse landscape, it’s easy—with a Black Forest tour guide—to combine cultural excursions with culinary highlights and relaxing activities, such as a boat ride on Lake Titisee or a hearty snack featuring Black Forest ham, into a harmonious day trip. Many old and time-honored crafts have also been preserved in the Black Forest for a long time. A world-famous example of this is, of course, the cuckoo clock, but traditional woodcarving, glassblowing, jewelry making, and much more are also worth discovering in the Black Forest, as is the rich history of mining—now defunct—which can still be experienced in many visitor mines. The grand monastery complexes of St. Trudpert, Alpirsbach, St. Blasien, Hirsau, and St. Peter still stand as impressive testaments today—on the one hand, to the early settlement of the Black Forest, and on the other, to the cultural and financial wealth of the Church in the region. And the beautiful old town centers of Gengenbach, Schiltach, and many other small towns also invite you to visit. The possibilities for a guided tour of the Black Forest are virtually endless, and we’d be happy to advise you on putting together the right itinerary for you. With tour guides arranged by Freiburg Kultour, you’ll get to know and love the Black Forest!
The group size of 49 people refers to the tour guide on the bus. For city tours, groups of 31 or more must be split, and an additional tour guide must be hired to ensure the quality of the customer experience.

exceptional tour we had today. Iris was amazing and was exactly the kind of tour guide we were looking for. She offered the local connection and experiences while appreciating and acknowledging our interest and expectations. She adjusted in ways that maximized our experience and brought local connections. Jan was the best driver he was always there as needed, safely drove us to our destinations and got us as close as possible. Our expectations were exceeded. Our experience with you as the booking agent was fantastic.
Die Reiseleitung war super, leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt. Haben sehr viel Information von Frau Jenne bekommen. Sie ist eine Bereicherung für jeder Gruppe.
Absolut super sagt die Gruppe
Dear Markus,
Thank you so much for organizing such a great tour. All the women had a wonderful time. Your choices of hotels, restaurants, and activities were perfect. Even the rain did not daunt our spirits. Sue is such a special tour guide, always attentive, never short of patience, always doing her best to see that the needs of everyone are taken care of. You make a great team.
I appreciate the care with which you fulfilled my wishes and am very grateful for all you did.
Sincerely,
Shirley Perez
Eberhard Kopp wurde von meiner Gruppe GELIEBT. Er hat nie auf die Uhr geschaut und sich immer die Zeit genommen, uns alles und jedes zu erklären. Gerne wieder mit Eberhard.
