Kaiserstuhl Bike Tour

The Kaiserstuhl Bike Tour is 64 km long and one of the most beautiful bike paths in the Upper Rhine Valley. You drive through the wine-growing communities of the Kaiserstuhl as well as the fruit-growing villages and the alluvial forests of the Rhine river. It is a circular bike path, we recommend starting at Riegel. 90% of the way is paved.

12 wine-growing communities are touched, lots of sonorous names in the ears of the wine connoisseur. The tour also includes part of the neighboring Tuniberg, which promises you wonderful views of the Black Forest and the Vosges.

The route runs varied on cycle paths and agricultural paths through Rhine floodplain forests, picturesque wine villages and small towns, through fertile orchards and vineyards.

Your accompanying tour guide not only knows the route on this tour by heart, but also the villages and their history and stories. Don’t just enjoy being active in nature, but learn more about winegrowing in the Kaiserstuhl winegrowing region and fruit growing here in the “warmest part of Germany”.

Pure nature on the Kaiserstuhl bike path

The Kaiserstuhl offers a wealth of rare animal species, such as the hoopoe, the bee-eater and the gray heron. But also rare lizards like the wall lizard and the sand lizard. But the highlight would be to discover a green lizard or a praying mantis.

Embedded in this paradise are picturesque villages such as Vogtsburg, Breisach, Bahlingen am Kaiserstuhl, Riegel and Bötzingen. Look forward to half-timbered houses, narrow streets and a slower pace of life.

Included in the price is a cycling tour guide who will accompany your group throughout the day. If we organize additional services for you, such as coffee breaks, restaurants or even bicycles, a processing fee of €25 will be charged in addition to the cost of the service.
